Reus Airport is located really close to the City Reus at just 3 kilometres away. Reus Airport is also used for travellers to Tarragona which is just 13 kilometres away and is South of Barcelona quite a bit futher at 80 kilometres.
The only airline which flys in and out of Reus is the budget carrier Ryanair operating flights into Bristol, Nottingham East Midlands and London Stansted in the UK and Brussels, Eindhoven, Frankfurt and Santiago in the rest of Europe. Reus Airport handled 705.067 passengers with 705.067 flight operations in 2015.
There is a new check-in terminal that now merges the existing arrivals and departures buildings. Building work is currently underway in the boarding gate area and passengers continue to board from the provisional terminal. This temporary terminal is accessed via a covered walkway located after security screening.
If you are driving up to Barcelona, its quite an easy drive and will take at least an hour. If you are staying in the city centre of Barcelona, you may want to consider getting the bus as the traffic is pretty bad, Barcelona is a fabulous city and very very busy.
There are a number of buses at Reus airport which connect you to the city centre, Barcelona, Cambrils (stopping at Salou), Tarragona and Valls. There is no railway at the airport but the one in the centre of Reus has links to Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona and Zaragoza.
You can catch a taxi from the rank outside arrivals. The fare into Reus is approximately €18,00: Salou €28,00 and €33,00 to the AVE railway station.
