Pamplona Airport Flights

There are no direct UK flights into Pamplona so if you are trying to get here the best plan is to fly into Madrid or Barcelona and get a connecting flight with Air Nostrum or Iberia subsidiary Air Nostrum respectively.

Alternatively there are rail links to and from Madrid with a journey time of about 3 hours (5 hours by car). From Barcelona it takes 4 hours by train and 5 hours to drive. Both of the journeys by plane take about an hour.

Pamplona Airport is at its busiest during the summer months, and particularly in July when the famous bull running fiesta occurs.

There are no rail services from the airport but you can catch a bus from the nearby Talluntxe industrial estate to Aizóain, Noáin and Beriáin.

During the San Fermin bull run special buses are laid on to get you into Pamplona which is just 6km from the airport.

There are motorway connections from Pamplona to San Sebastian, Logrono, Zaragoza, and Vitoria.

You can get a Renfe train from the centre of Pamplona to Madrid and Zaragoza and other towns in northern Spain with a high speed train running between Zaragoza, Madrid and Barcelona planned for 2014.

If you are leaving early or arriving late and want to stay somewhere near to the airport the hotels which are close by are the Hotel Alaiz, Hotel Husa Noain Aeropuerto and Hostal Izaga.
