Arriving at Pamplona

After you leave the plane you enter the arrivals area on the ground floor of the terminal where you head for the baggage reclaim hall which has two carousels.

If you have prebooked a hire car which you need to collect, the rent a car desks can easily be found in the public arrivals hall. If you can book in advance if will save you time when you land as most of the paperwork has been completed. You can also request any extras like child restraints or baby seats when you make the reservation so that they are fitted and waiting for you in the vehicle when you pick it up.

There is no direct bus service from the airport into Pamplona so you need to get a taxi from the rank opposite the arrivals exit or book a private transfer where the driver will meet you in the arrivals hall. You can also prebook your return journey with the transfer company which means there are no nasty surprises when you are getting low on euros at the end of your holiday.

There are bus and railway stations in Pamplona itself where you can get regular and reasonably priced connections to nearby towns and cities.
