Flights to the Balearic Island of Menorca off the eastern coast of mainland Spain are available from a number of different airports in the UK and Ireland.

The airport is situated on the southern end of the island with bus links to the north. There is one main road forming the backbone of Menorca running from Mahon to Cuitadella so it is very easy to navigate your way around. There is no railway.

The majority of airlines who offer flights to Mahon Airport from the UK are budget no frills airlines including Monarch, Jet2 and easyJet with charter companies (flythomascookcharter and Thomson Flights) offering package holidays but also selling flights separately.

UK airports that offer flights into Mahon during the high season include Leeds Bradford, Birmingham, Nottingham East Midlands, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast, Bournemouth, Doncaster, Exeter, Liverpool and London Gatwick, Luton and Stansted with destinations and frequency decreasing over the winter.

The package holidays offer coach transport from the airport to your destination, but if you are on a scheduled flight there are regular bus services running from outside arrivals or you can catch a taxi. The best way to see the island and get to places off the bus routes is to hire a car, which you can pre-book before you fly and pick it up at the airport when you land.

Flights from the UK to Menorca take between 2½ -3 hours with Spain one hour ahead so all times quoted are local.
