After you land and have disembarked from the plane you should head for passport control and passenger arrivals on the ground floor of the passenger terminal at Menorca Airport.
There is a hall with six baggage reclaim carousels. Look for the monitors at the entrance which tell you which belt your bags will appear on. Or there are signs above each carousel showing the flight number and originating airport. There are free trolleys available in the baggage area.
As soon as you have picked up your bags go through the doors at the end of the hall into the public arrivals lobby where you will find several travel agencies/ tour operators, car hire companies who have desks lined up together along the wall and the tourist information service.
If you have pre-booked a rent a car then you should go to the relevant desk with your driving licence and credit card to complete the booking and once you have the paperwork you can go into the general car park across the road from the terminal (a two minute walk) to pick up your vehicle.
If you are catching a bus or getting a taxi to your next destination you will find the stops and rank right outside the arrivals hall. The taxis are usually lined up and move pretty quickly, but be prepared to wait for 10-15 minutes if you are travelling during the busy summer months.
If you have booked a private transfer then the driver will be waiting for you on the other side of the arrivals doors to take you to the waiting car.
The Customs Hall is also located here (telephone 0034 971 157 040)
