The departures lounge is situated on the first floor of the terminal building with 42 check in desks. One of which handles special baggage. You will also find tickets desks for Iberia/Air Nostrum, Spanair, Air Berlin and Air Europa situated here.

You can find out the number of the desk for your flight check in on the large board above them all or on one of the monitors dotted about the lobby.

Once you have checked in you can make you way up to the second floor where you will find security checks and passport control. Once you have cleared these you can head to the passenger only departures lounge to look around the shops, maybe buy some duty free and get something to eat and drink.

Keep an eye on the TV monitors that are dotted around the area as they will show which of the sixteen boarding gates is the right one for your flight and you can also find out when the plane is boarding. There are a couple of cafes and a multi-shop in the boarding gates zone and it tends to be quieter and less crowded to wait there than in the main passenger departures area.

Menorca Airport does not have a VIP lounge but there is an e-point for internet access on the second floor which is charged at an hourly rate and paid for by putting euros into the slot.

If you do still have some euros to use up there is a duty free shop and also the Sibarium delicatessen sells local produce (but is closed during the winter months).
