When you arrive at the departures area at Zaragoza Airport you will see fourteen desks in the lobby where you can check in and get your boarding card.
In the public lobby of the departures lounge on the ground floor there is the Quint 1 multi-shop which sells local food products, gifts and souvenirs as wellas toys, sunglasses and books and magazines for you to read on the plane. There is no duty free shop at the airport but this is a good place to get a last minute gift for someone you have forgotten. It is open from 08:30-21:00 every day.
If you want to have a drink with someone to say goodbye to them there is a cafe and ice cream bar in the check in area. Helados Jijonenca home made Spanish ice cream is on the first floor. It overlooks the runway and sells wide variety of ice creams, drinks and coffee. It is right next to a children's play area.
The self service cafe is on the ground floor. It is open from 06:00 to 23:00
Once you have cleared security and are in the passenger only departures lounge there is another Self service cafeteria where you can get something to eat and drink while you are waiting for your flight to be called. It is open from 06:00 to 23:00.
All of the six boarding gates are on the ground floor and offer direct access to the aircraft apron so there is no need to get a bus to the aircraft.
