When you land at Vigo Airport you either leave the plane via the air bridge on floor 1, or you have to get on a bus which takes you to the baggage reclaim hall via the ground floor. You will see 3 carousels: 2 for domestic flights and 1for international flights.
The luggage hall has desks for Iberia and Spanair desks who you should report any lost of damaged lugage to. The car hire offices where you go to get the details on how to collect your are also located here.
If you are being met at the airport a good place for someone to wait is at the Sagafredo Expresso Coffee shop in the public arrivals area.
If you are planning on getting a bus into Vigo you will see the C9A stop outside the arrivals hall. It runs Monday to Friday between the airport and Plaza de America and on weekends and public holidays it goes to Colon. The first bus from the airport Monday to Friday is at 06:05 (last bus 23:00). It runs at 30 minute intervals. The single fare is €1,24.
There is no train service at the airport, with the main railway station in the city centre operating trains to nearby towns. There is a daily express service and Talgo trainsrun to larger cities like Madrid.
If you catch a taxi from the airport to Vigo, Mos and Redondela there is a fixed tariff of just over €20,00.
