The bus service in Valencia is very extensive covering 52 routes. If you are planning on using the buses a lot then a Valencia Tourist Card offers free public transport in the city zone A and discounts for museums, shops and restaurants that display a sticker.
You can buy cards which are valid for 1, 2 or 3 days at hotels, kiosks and tourist offices.
Itinerary: Airport Departures area - Manises - Quart de Poblet - Mislata - Valencia. Journey time around 45 minutes depending on traffic.
Runs daily from 05:25 to 22:00 at 30 minute intervals. Single fare: €1.40 - pay the bus driver but make sure you have some small change as he might well refuse to change a euro note!

There is a service which operates direct from this airport to Costa Blanca resorts: Gandia, Denia, down to Benidorm and Alicante. The transfers take place one or twice a day and you will travel in comfortable 48 seater mini buses.
