There are bus routes that connect the airport to Santa Cruz which is the capital of the island, Los Rodeos which is the other airport in the north, Puerto de la Cruz and the southern beaches. The bus stops are easily found on the other side of the road as you come out of arrivals.

The buses run at regular intervals but the queues can be hot in the summer and it's no fun waiting in the hot sun surrounded by bags and children. Other options for you to consider are hiring a car, booking a private transfer or catching a taxi to your holiday destination.

If you prebook a hire car you will often get a better deal, and this is certianly the best way to get around the island and get to remote beaches and visit places off the tourist track.

Route 111 to Santa Cruz

Route to the city centre with stops at other resorts.

Departures from the airport 06:30-22:20 at 30 minute intervals. Then departs 23:30, 00:20, 01:05, 03:05 and 04:00.

Single fares:Los Cristianos €3,10 / Costa Adeje €3,55 / Santa Cruz €9,00

Route 343 to Tenerife North Airport

Direct bus between airports. Nonstop 50 minute journey. Single fare €9,35.

Route 450 Costa Adeje-San Isidori

Route: airport to Granadilla.

Single Fares; Los Cristianos & Playa de las Amiercas €3,10: Costa Adeje €3,55: Granadilla €2,45

Runs: Costa Adeje: from 06:56-20:40 / San Isidro in Granadilla from 07:15-19:45
