The majority of flights (46%) operating from Tenerife North Airport are Binter Canarias Inter Island flights between Tenerife and Gran Canaria, La Palma, El Hierro, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and La Gomera, or internal domestic flights from Barcelona, Bilbao, La Palma, Madrid, Malaga and Seville.

There are no direct flights from the UK into Tenerife North at the moment but British Airways may restart their service later this year.

The main passenger airport is Tenerife Reina Sofia in the south of the Island which has a non-stop bus service connecting it to Tenerife North at the other end of the island with a journey time of 50 minutes.

Or you can get a flight into the larger airports of Madrid, Barcelona or Malaga and get a connection with Binter Canarias airlines.

The airport is just 10km Santa Cruz de Tenerife which is the island's capital. There is a tourist office here, but if you need any help when you land there is also one at the airport.

if you need to purchase tickets for connecting flights there are sales desks for Air Europa, Binter Canarias, Iberia and SBA Airlines in the main lobby area.

Because this is the smaller airport on the island arrivals and check in are handled pretty quickly here with no long queues during the high season.
