If you are departing from Santiago Airport, after checking in and obtaining your boarding pass from one of the 22 check in desks in the main airport lobby on the first floor of the new terminal building.
The boarding area is on the first floor with three security checkpoints. There are fifteen boarding gates on floor 1, with the exception of gate 1 which is on the mezzanine level.
There are banks of monitors where you can check which gate your flight is leaving from and when it is boarding. Announcements are not always clear or easy to hear at airports so keep checking the status of your flight.
The passenger only departures area has a large duty free shop plus outlets selling local products and foodstuffs, gifts, cigarettes, perfumes, jewellery, souvenirs and sunglasses. If you are buying duty free goods remember you need to present your boarding card when you come to pay for them.
If you want to get something to eat and drink while waiting for your flight to board there is a cafe in the boarding area where you can get drinks and snacks.
