Lanzarote Airport Arrivals are in the newer Terminal 1 for domestic and international flights and the smaller Terminal 2 for inter-island flights
In Terminal 1 the arrivals area is on the ground floor. If you have checked in luggage, once you have disembarked from the plane and cleared passport control you need to head for the luggage hall which has monitors at the entrance telling you which conveyor belt your bags will appear on.
But if you miss them don't worry as there are also signs above the carousels with details of the departures airport and flight number. It is a relatively small baggage reclaim all with six carousels plus one for special luggage.
As you walk towards the exit doors you will see the desks for the ground handling agents and car hire companies. If your baggage does not arrive or is damaged report this to your airline's baggage handlers before you leave the hall. If you leave anything on the plane you need to contact the airline direct.
If you are being met by someone the Medas cafeteria in the public arrivals area is a good place for them to wait. It is by the doors which open into the public area so you can't miss it.
There are also cash machines here along with the tour operators' offices and the Lanzarote Council tourist information office who can also help you with maps, hotel bookings, etc.
Terminal 2 arrivals for inter-island flights has just one baggage reclaim carousel, a lost property office, rent a car agencies, a cafeteria and multi-shop.
