The Granada Airport Departures hall is on the ground floor of the terminal. It is a small area which can handle around 486 passengers an hour with fourteen check-in desks, ticket sales offices for Air Europa, Iberia, Spanair and Vueling airlines, self service check-in machines for Iberia and Spanair and info desks for Aena and the Granada Tourist Board.
The AiCafe is in the public check in area and is the ideal place to have a final drink or snack with someone who is seeing you off and also to grab that last bit of sun on its its outside terrace.
You can access the boarding lounge once you have clecked in and cleared security. Again it is a relatively small area with capacity for 380 passengers with 4 boarding gates.
There is a cafeteria and resturant Abades in the passenger only zone which offers a sit down service as well as self-service with sandwiches, pastries, beverages and drinks. If you want a more substantial meal and have some time to kill the restaurant overlooks the runway and surrounding countryside and offers typical dishes from Granafa including the Sacromonte omelette.
There is one shop is in the boarding zone. The Multitienda Abades is open from 07:00-23:00 and sells gifts, books, newspapers and magazines, perfumes and cosmetics, local foodstuffs and accessories.
If you have mobility problems there are 12 assigned parking places, an adapted toilet and telephone booth. Access ramps have been included from the car parks into the terminal building and boarding lounge. There are also 2 specially assigned check-in desks.
