Full flight information is provided at Fuerteventura Airport via the numerous TV monitors and screens which include details of the times and respective check-in desks.
Passengers can also request flight information at the various Aena information desks located on both the arrivals and departures floors.
In the check-in area on the ground floor there are 65 desks (one for special baggage) and ticket sales offices for the tour operators.
There is also a cafeteria, banking services, cash machine, automatic check-in machines, lottery outlet, pharmacy, first aid unit and shopping area. There is one VIP lounge located in the check-in area
The departure lounge and boarding gates are on the first floor. The boarding gates are numbered 1 to 10 from north to south and five of them have fingers After you have checked in and go off for your security check you will see two gates: one is to the right and behind the check in desks, the other is next to check in desk zero. Both are not always open, so it is worth keeping an eye on the situation as you move forward in the check in queue. If the wait becomes too stressful you can go and look at the fish in the aquarium between the arrivals and departures halls.
There are plenty of places to get something to eat and drink while you are waiting for your flight which you can eat at the cafe or make the most of the sun and head for one of the large sun terraces situated at each end of the zone. There is a children's play area here, a Haagen Daazs ice-cream parlour and glass covered flight observation platform.
The usual duty free shops and ATMs are near the Information Desk. Post boxes can be found on the ground floor next to the entrance or in Departures on the first floor next to the information desk (telephone: 0034 928 860 600). There is a good selection of restaurants and café’s, as well as duty free goods, clothing, gifts, book and flower shops.
