Fuerteventura Airport is a single two storey terminal building with two runways. After you have disembarked and passed through passport control, you will make your way through to the baggage reclaim area on the ground floor which has fifteen baggage carousels, one of which is reserved for special baggage. There are monitors at the entrance to tell you where your luggage will appear and also a monitor above each belt telling you the destination and flight number for the cases which are being unoaded.

The Fuerteventura Airport arrivals hall has plenty of toilets, a cafeteria, tourist office, lost luggage offices, car hire offices, tour operators and cash machines. You will also find information about local taxi prices. There is also a shop where you can buy cigarettes, liquor, toiletries and chocolates.

There are free baggage trolleys in special bays on all floors and in the car parks

If you are unlucky and your bags do not turn up or are damaged then report it straight away to the t luggage handling company for your airline (Atlántica Handling, Clever, Flightcare, Islas Airways and Newco (Spanair) or the Information Desk on the ground floor.

if you leave something on the plane then contact your airline, and if you mislay something in the airport terminal building then head for lost property in the public arrivals area.

For passengers with disabilities there are dedicated parking spaces, warning paving strips in front of doors, stairways and lifts, signalled paving in special non-slip red tiles and adapted toilets.
