The main motorways in Spain are excellent to drive along and tolls are charged to ensure that they are well maintained. It is worth using these roads whenever possible because although you have to pay a charge the smaller alternative roads are often busy single carriageways which usually offer a much slower and more dangerous journey.
Once you have collected your La Coruna Airport hire car the driving directions to to the town are to head north turning left on to the roundabout where you take the first exit.
Then take 2nd exit on to Av Nice to Alcalá-Zamora/N-550 and go up the ramp to AP-9/E-01/AC-11/A Coruña where it merges on to the Avenida Alcalde Alfonso Molina/N-550/AC-11
Continue on the N-550 onto Av. Linares Rivas and on to Calle Sánchez Bregua where you turn left onto Calle Compostela. Continue into Calle Ferrol and on to Calle Cabo Santiago Gómez.
At the roundabout take the second exit onto Calle Uruguay and continue on to Avenida Arteijo

In the arrivals hall you will find the offices of the four main car hire companies operating here, although there are other companies such as Alamo situated off site. Click on the individual link to find out more about that company.
