After you disembark from the plane you will enter the arrivals hall on the ground floor of the terminal building.
As you enter the baggage reclaim hall look out for the monitors which tell you which of the four belts your bags will arrive on.
As soon as you have your bags head for the public area where you will see the tour operators and car hire desks where you go to pick up your rent a car. If you are planning on hiring a car it is best to pre book it as this will save time when you arrive and you can often save money by booking in advance.
If you are planning on catching public transport from the airport there is no train service, but directly outside arrivals you will see a stop for the bus to take you into Asturias. From the bus station there you can get connections to other cities in the province.
There is also a taxi rank there which always has vehicles ready and waiting to take you to your onward destination. If you are travelling with a family you should know that Spanish taxis are only licensed to take up to a maximum of four passengers and do not supply baby seats or child restraints. If you want to travel together with these safety features then you need to book a private transfer which can provide vehicles which can accommodate up to 52 people and can supply any extras that you require.
