Arriving at Almeria Airport

The arrivals area in Almeria is at the far left end (as you look at the airport) of the terminal building, the area for departures at Almeria Airport is at the opposite end of the terminal.

It's pretty easy to find your way around as everywhere is well signposted and the terminal building is just a single storey and medium sized.

After you disembark from the aircraft you can get to the baggage reclaim hall via two doors. The main luggage hall has three carousels, plus another for use during the high season in an adjacent room.

Customs, the car hire companies, travel agencies and tour operators are located in the same hall which is accessed via a single door.

If you are planning to rent a car it is best if you pre-book the vehicle on line as this will save time when you land at Almeria and also ensure that you get the make and model you require. Booking in advance often gets you the best deal and if you need child restraints or baby seats you can also request them when you make the reservation.

If you are planning on getting a bus from the airport, you will see the stop directly outside the arrivals hall with the taxi rank located to your left.
